The King of Biebrza River is the nickname of Krzysztof Kawenczyński - an antiquarian and art enthusiast, who in 1992 left the hustle and bustle of Warsaw and permanently settled in the heart of Biebrza National Park, in the small village of Budy.
He lives in extraordinary natural surroundings, in an old wooden house full of sculptures, antiques, and unique folk art of Podlasie. His farm is teeming with life thanks to a considerable number of four-legged residents - adopted dogs, cows, and horses.
